The zine “Les Braises” is a metaphorical picture story about unpredictability and joie de vivre. The dragon-like protagonists of the story decide one day to ban fire, as they want to create a safer world. But with this decision, the whimsical creatures also lose everything that lit up darkness.

In consequence they gradually begin to wonder whether safety is really worth this sacrifice.
